Originally developed by an acquaintance, Engagement Monster was acquired as a form of payment for joining the Tier5 Partner program. The original code was poorly developed and minimized, making it difficult for the development team to enhance or add new functionalities. As a result, a decision was made to develop a new version — Engagement Monster AI — from scratch.
